2-day training

Mixed media on polymer clay
For me, one of the main interests of this internship is the mixed media approach, meaning the use of different mediums with polymer clay. It's something I've been practicing since I started and it's a bit of my specialty.
For this project, I particularly focused on layering using mainly acrylic paint.
My goal is not to provide you with a step-by-step plan to follow like a recipe. Instead, I want to offer you many avenues for thought and creation, which you can explore further according to your desires, in order to find your own artistic path.
Polymer clay side:
This internship begins with the creation of various polymer clay backgrounds using diverse techniques and artistic mediums.
You will learn to build a background by accumulating different layers. You will learn to make an element stand out on this background, much like a collage. The goal is to enjoy letting yourself be guided by your desires and intuitions, and to be surprised by the result.

Toolside
You will know how to make, easily and for free, an essential tool for this internship.
Study jewel: a necklace
For this internship, I'm not offering a specific necklace design. I'll guide you in choosing your design and assembly based on what you have available, but especially by freeing yourself from commercial findings (particularly clasps). If you wish, you can incorporate a hidden clasp into the necklace's design.

Metalworking during this internship
Regarding metalworking, my idea is to give you an overview of what can be easily achieved with this material, in this case brass (although you can also use copper or aluminum), while minimizing equipment costs as much as possible. Therefore, I have limited the tools to a hammer, an anvil, a file, and shears.
