JEWELRY
My jewelry is often made from polymer clay, a material I've been working with since 2005, which I often combine with wood and metal.
I will go into more detail about the different materials that can be found in my jewelry on the page Materials Used
I most often work by following my intuition and creating jewelry that I would like to wear. I create my own shapes, my own templates, and I hardly use any store-bought cutters. Regarding my polymer clay work, my colorful decorations are made using techniques that could be likened to painting a canvas: I most often work from a blank canvas (a sheet of white polymer clay). Each piece is unique and requires many steps before assembly.
When I can, I make my own findings (earring hooks among other things).
So we are very far from mass production.
If you like my universe, I can indeed work on commission.
I design my jewelry to be durable and resistant. I pay close attention to the curing of polymer clay to ensure solid pieces that can withstand daily wear and even drops.
If despite this, your jewelry breaks, I study each situation carefully.
A repair can be considered when it is technically possible and it preserves the aesthetic and balance of the jewelry.
However, when a breakdown occurs after a long period of use and is due to natural wear and tear, repair is not always the most suitable solution.
Contact me by email to explain which part broke (photos are often more explicit). I will be able to tell you if I can perform a repair and, if so, I will provide you with a quote. Shipping and return costs will be your responsibility.
TUTORIALS AND TRAINING
Once you're logged in, you can view all your orders on the website by going to "MY ACCOUNT" (in the menu at the bottom of the page). To access your account, you must place your orders while logged in.
Absolutely: You can sell creations made from my training courses. However, you cannot disclose the content of the training courses or teach techniques learned from me.
If you have the opportunity to credit me on social media, you help promote my training, for which I am very grateful.
Tutorials are not subject to the right of withdrawal and therefore cannot be refunded or exchanged.
You have «lifetime» access to the tutorial. The PDF that summarizes the entire training can be downloaded. It's up to you to store it so you don't lose it. If, by bad luck, you lose your document, you can download it again by logging into your account on the website. (This option is only available if you have created a customer account on my site.)
The video is not downloadable, but you can access it for as long and as often as you wish.
STAMPS FOR SIGNING
When you order a custom stamp, you will receive a link in your order confirmation email to a document explanatory.
In the blog article «Why sign your creations?» You will also find videos in which I show how I use my own signature stamp.
To create a stamp from an existing logo or a specific font, I provide a quote after receiving the desired image for the stamp. The price depends on the time spent transforming and adapting this image into a file that will allow for the creation of a stamp that remains legible even at a very small size. A vector file (.svg or .ai) is preferred, but I can work with the file you send me. To get a quote, simply contact me by email at olga.nicolas@ptitscailloux.com and attach your logo.
