Faux Enamel and Faux Metal
The project enables students to discover 2 personal imitation techniques: enamels and aged engraved metal. The students will first make the various tools needed to create the faux enamel. They will then learn how to give an engraved metal or tarnished aspect to polymer clay. They will create the faux enamel cabochon and learn how to obtain the very shiny and smooth aspect on a curved surface.
The class will end with the association of these 2 effects on a pendant.
This is a one day-workshop project but the project also exists as a video tutorial. You can find it on my e-shop.
