POLYMER CLAY STENCILS

Using Stencils with Polymer Clay

Stencils and I go way back — it’s been a long love story! After using them on walls and furniture, I began incorporating them into my polymer clay work as early as 2014, notably in the project featured in this tutorial: The following project was completely different in style, yet it also made use of stencils...

The next project was totally different but also included the use of stencils.

Then I continued with a brooch project that I taught at the JAFA in 2015 in Verneuil (close to Paris).

The tutorial project “unbalanced necklace” also uses stencils.

I have an impressive number of scrapbooking stencils but often they are too large for satisfied me on polymer clay. So I started cutting my own stencils. First with Scan N cut and for over a year with my laser cutter. I changed the material (a bit thicker than before) and the design of my first stencils to make them even more resistant to the miseries I put them through. I also have several new designs to offer. Some are "classic" patterns (honeycomb; Japanese inspiration ...) but perfectly suited for use on small sheet of clay and others are the result of a very large work of drawing and vectorization of which I am particularly proud.

I am offering a product launch: 5 stencils purchased = 1 free. Simply order the 5 stencils that interest you and note the promo code: YOUPI in the basket to apply the discount.

Finally, here is a video that shows a way of using stencils on polymer clay.

I hope you will enjoy using these stencils as much as I do.
