During this project the students will explore different surface techniques.

They will experiment several ways to create colorful patterns on raw clay (with paints, pastels and stencils) and will use these techniques to to create an originally-shaped pendant.
The necklace proposed has an original closure system that is on the neckline.

The students will therefore discover how to make a clasp in the shape of modelled stylized flowers.

A glossy finish similar to resin but easier to use and drying instantly will then be used.

The class ends with the assembling of the necklace parts.
