It's Back-to-School Season!

(A little nod to my former life as a teacher.)

Back in the studio after a refreshing summer break, I’m happy to have taken the time to recharge my batteries. Early September is the perfect time to look back on the first part of the year and reflect on everything that has taken place so far.

The first half of this year was not as promising as I had hoped. Let’s be honest: these are challenging times, especially for small artisan businesses.

After this summer break, however, I feel calmer and full of positive energy.

I’ve made several decisions, including one that feels particularly important: to stop trying to follow every piece of marketing advice I come across. “Post more. Create more reels. Share more stories. Talk about your ‘why’...”

I’m not criticizing these recommendations; they simply haven’t worked for me. In fact, the more I tried to follow them, the more I started to doubt myself and the value of what I do.

So I’ve decided to move at my own pace, stop putting so much pressure on myself, follow my heart and intuition, and most importantly, reconnect with the tone and atmosphere of my old blog, which I started back in 2006 on CanalBlog.

Looking back through some of those old posts, I realized that I shared more of myself back then and that the conversations felt richer and more meaningful.

So over the coming months, you can expect a little more behind-the-scenes life from the studio, both here and on Instagram and Facebook.

I’ve also added several new templates and stencil designs to the shop. They’ve been available on the website for a little while now, but I hadn’t had a chance to talk about them yet. I’m planning to create a few videos about them during the autumn.

And what about you? How did you experience the first half of the year? How is your autumn shaping up?

    My Creative Jewelry Studio

My studio is not very large, but it is a place where I feel completely at home. It is located in an outbuilding next to my home in Savigny, near Lyon, France. Over the years, I have completely renovated and organized this space — a former farm outbuilding that was once used as a bread oven. I gradually transformed it into a creative workspace dedicated to jewelry making, teaching, and experimentation...

  1. Tu as parfaitement raison !

Ca me fait plaisir.
