DISCOVERY WORKSHOP
A Discovery Workshop Unlike Any Other: Exploring Polymer Clay in a Different Way
When people think of polymer clay workshops, they often picture brightly colored clay, gradients, color blends, and marbled patterns…
It’s a fun approach, but it has also become one of the most common ways of working with polymer clay today.
What if we changed our starting point?
In the discovery workshop I offer, we take a different path. ✨
Here, we leave colorful clay blends behind.
I work exclusively with white polymer clay.
Instead of building color into the material, we will bring color onto the material. White becomes a space for exploration, and the material becomes a canvas.
Soft pastels, acrylic paints, layered effects, subtle nuances… Color becomes a form of expression. ✨

Create Without Stress, in a Relaxed and Friendly Atmosphere

This workshop is, above all, a moment of pleasure and creativity.
We will :
Discover how to reveal texture through color
Experiment freely
Experiment with surface effects
Play with transparency and contrasts
An accessible and relaxed workshop
This workshop is designed for:
- People who are completely new to polymer clay
- Those who would like to give it a try without pressure
- Those looking for an enjoyable and creative experience
What you will learn:
During the workshop, you will discover :
- How to condition the clay
- How to create a simple texture
- How to apply soft pastels
- How to enhance texture with paint
- The basics of curing and finishing polymer clay
You will leave with a finished piece, ready to wear, and with the feeling of having discovered a different approach to polymer clay.
… and, above all, with the skills and confidence to continue exploring at home if you wish.

A simple, accessible workshop that offers a different approach from what is usually seen in polymer clay.
If you're curious about exploring polymer clay in a different way, this workshop is for you.
Hi Olga,
So glad I found you again….so much has happened! I am now living in Arkansas…bought my dad’s house and 80 acres when he passed away and most of my supplies are in a storage unit. I am hoping you still ship to the US? I would love to get a bunch of the templates again (the one Maureen and I helped with the tutorial) …can you drop me a line when you get this and let me know about the shipping. I hope all is well with you and the family! Seriously jealous of your trips….I went to China before Covid and back and forth from Maryland and Arkansas the past couple of years….love your new brooches with the wire frames!! have a great day! Love, Kelly Russell
Dear Kelly,
I’m so happy to hear from you! I had seen on Facebook that your dad had passed away and that you were busy dealing with his house. I’m glad to hear that you’ve now moved there. Moving to another state and starting a new life in your dad’s home must be quite a change.
On my side, I’ve been travelling a little less lately. We bought a small cottage in Provence, so we’ve been enjoying spending our holidays there.
Unfortunately, at the moment I’m no longer able to ship to the US because the shipping service I used has been suspended. I’m really sorry about that. I’ll definitely let you know as soon as things change, although given the current situation, I’m afraid it may take some time.
It was really lovely to hear from you again. I hope you have a wonderful end of summer.
Hugs,
Olga
